A Fortune 500 biotechnology company was utilizing many CROs across a small portfolio. They wanted to develop a coordinated CRO strategy across functions (Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostats).
Through facilitated workshops and team meetings, Altani led the group to an agile, sourcing strategy which reduced the CRO portfolio from 15 (across the 3 functions) to 5 (across the 3 functions). Additionally, we worked with them to ensure business continuity on ongoing trials, and deploy the new strategic partnership and FSP models.
A Fortune 500 biotechnology company wanted a strategic partner to develop innovation workshops for product development teams.
Altani partnered with the strategic innovation group to design user centered design workshops, as well as the framework and infrastructure to support teams into implementation. Altani supported 20+ workshops through facilitation and concierge support post workshop.
A fortune 500 biotechnology company early development group wanted assistance with user centered design workshops, that would also include mock simulation of protocol visits. This was important to the group as many of the disease areas were new to the development teams, so incorporating the user feedback early – before TPP and CDP and protocol finalization was key.
Altani partnered with the patient centricity team to create a framework and we facilitated workshops that incorporated the patient, study coordinator and clinician voice into the development design. The company was able to decrease enrollment timelines, and operational costs by ensuring protocols were designed with the end user in mind at the beginning, vs. through iterative protocol amendments. This also increased patient satisfaction, since patients had their needs met up front, vs. participating in a trial that was a burden. They have also significantly decreased the length of their informed consent.
A healthcare technology company wanted to explore going to market in life sciences. They needed to understand what the business challenges were for product development and identify where their product could optimize the processes.
Altani designed a 1-day workshop with the senior executives of the company to bring needs and insights of the life science industry to the forefront. Altani was able to map the processes and business challenges where the technology company could offer a solution to meet business needs. We assisted with prioritizing business focus areas and targeted customers for go to market. The company has since successfully launched into the life sciences space, and is recognized as an innovator in patient recruitment.
A global health foundation was seeking support for facilitated sessions with global health leaders.
Altani was identified as innovative facilitators to lead a challenge team that came together in short workshop format (less than 8 hrs total) to address the business challenge of pandemics, and how the global community could respond better. Through expert facilitation we were able to harness the collective brain power of global leaders and identify a solution that was funded significantly by the foundation for implementation.
We’re Altani, the process innovation company for the life science industry.
